I have been married to my beautiful wife, Debra, for 43 years and have 3 sons plus 3 beautiful daughters in law, 12 grandkids & 2 great grandkids.
I have been working with wood pretty much all my life. I enjoy creating unique pieces and teaching others all about working with wood. As you can see from some of my projects below each piece is unique and original. I work with up to 20 different species of wood and also harvest a lot of the hardwood used in my projects. I enjoy building a variety of cutting & charcuterie boards, cheese boards, lazy susans, noodle boards, sink boards and more. I build all different sizes of cutting boards, countertops, coffee tables & hope chests.
If you see something you like or have an idea for a fun project give me a shout. Call or text (660) 341-1422 or shoot me an email randy@grandpaswoodworking.com
I look forward to hearing from you and working with you to create something unique and beautiful.
~Randy

I use over 20 species of wood in my woodworking projects.
People always ask if I stain the wood. The answer is no, all the colors are naturally occurring in each wood species. I only use an oil to enhance the color and seal the wood.
My grandkids put together the board to show off most of the wood species that I use.
I harvest a lot of my own lumber and air dry it for up to 2 years.
I enjoy working on custom projects and build a variety of size boards too.
